Evyap established a greenfield project, a state-of-the-art oleochemical plant in Malaysia, in 2012. The Johor-based facility boasts an annual production capacity of 400,000 tonnes of high-grade oleochemicals, specialty esters, refined glycerine, and soap noodles, which serve as the building blocks for major personal care products, cosmetics ingredients, food ingredients, pharmaceutical applications, and other goods for ancillary industries. The facility’s strategic location offers the intrinsic advantage of being close to the raw material source, ensuring a steady supply of basic ingredients for a wide range of consumer goods. Additionally, the plant’s proximity to Johor Port ensures connectivity and flexibility for major markets around the world.

The Johor facility has the capability to manufacture high-quality fatty acids, including caprylic, capric, lauric, myristic, palmitic, stearic, oleic, and various blended fatty acids. Since 2021, the facility has expanded into specialty ester manufacturing, meeting external demands and industrial applications. The products are sold to more than 100 countries worldwide, primarily in the Middle East, Asia, the Americas, and Europe.
